Decorex Designer Spotlight
The popular Decorex Designer Spotlight will return this year bringing with it exciting interpretations of the 2017 trends. This year, Change Design Studio’s Angela Rousseau, will create a trendy lounge setting using her signature minimalist style. Rousseau will collaborate with SHF, Something Country and Top Carpets on this installation.
Plascon Colour Forecast
Enter a world of colour at the Plascon stand where the world’s paint giant will showcase the highly anticipated Plascon 2017 Colour Forecast. Plascon has chosen Decorex since its inception as the perfect platform to release the upcoming colour trends.

Decorex SA Trend House
The Decorex SA Trend House is a project which gives the audience a visual representation of how the 2017 trends can be realised in any living space by creating a home using carefully selected @home furnishings.
Franke Kitchen Design Project
Four of the region’s best kitchen designers – Crestwood Kitchens, Expert Kitchens, Kitchen Spectrum and Wood Trends – will go head-to-head in the Franke ‘Simplicity in Design’ Kitchen Design Project. Franke, a world leader in kitchen-systems’ suppliers, sponsors this inspiring feature of expertly-designed kitchen stands.
Returning to Decorex for the fourth time is Sagie Govender, owner of Expert Kitchens, with over 32 years’ experience in the industry. “We have always had a really pleasant learning experience at Decorex and are looking forward to another exciting showcase,” said Govender, adding that Expert Kitchens would be collaborating with Blinds and Floors and Lighting for the project.
Experience a fantastic kitchen model featuring a classic raised and fielded panelled duco door, as well as a rustic, solid oak breakfast table artfully combined with a marble-finished quartz at the Franke Kitchen Design Project where Crestwood Kitchens will once again wow visitors with their sophisticated, exclusive finishes.
Exhibiting at Decorex Durban for well over a decade, Kitchen Spectrum will showcase the handless, textured light woodgrain finishes all combined with cement-coloured quartz tops at the Franke Kitchen Project. Be sure not to miss this stunning display of craftsmanship and creativity.

Find interior inspiration at the new Décor District presented by Canvex where four selected designers will need to find inspiration through an environmentally conscious space by using as much locally produced product as well as the locally woven Canvex wallpaper to create four exceptional room settings.
Wisty Raleigh Interiors
Berea-based Wisty Raleigh Interiors will be fusing old and new in her lounge setting installation which is styled on ‘classic contemporary with a touch of the unexpected’.
African-inspired décor will encompass the bedroom setting created by Bulelwa Mvulana of Ballito-based interior design company, Mi Africa.
The ‘urban jungle’ trend has resonated with designer, Paige Waplington of Redesign Interiors, whose eclectic style and passion for colour is set to explode at this year’s Décor District.
Even Flow Decor
Sustainability and organic living underscore every design by Berea-based organisation, Even Flow Decor for the Décor District, designer, Brett Harris, has selected an ‘olde world Karoo trading store’ installation.
Gourmet Cooking Theatre
Certain to be one of the most entertaining features at Decorex Durban, is The Gourmet Cooking Theatre, which will provide fun talks and cooking demos by a host of engaging local chefs, all presented from a beautiful purpose-built kitchen.
