On Wednesday the 13th November I boarded a flight to the Centre of Now – Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to visit a leading design fair of high quality and original design – Downtown Design situated in the Dubai Design District [also known as d3]. It was a 5-day showcase of The best Design from Dubai and around the world. Downtown Design is the key event of Dubai Design Week which is one of the largest creative festivals, which takes place annually, brings the regional and international design industry together in Dubai, for a dynamic programme of discovery and networking.
