Bringing some cool flavour and style to your kitchen is Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, Managing Director of ShowLove, an event, brand and content management organisation at the forefront of the entertainment industry.
“I’m a cook who loves to make simple food beautiful. I’m big on preparation but make cooking easy. I enjoy techniques from around the world, especially French techniques that I pick up from many chef friends.”
Audiences who attended Decorex Joburg earlier this year got to experience one of Joburg’s leading chefs, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, while he demonstrated his unique cooking talents in the Gourmet Cooking Theatre where he used his French-style cooking to cook lamb rump with seasoned asparagus.
“The Nino Brown combines a few of my favourite tastes and suits any setting whether relaxed or fine dining. I named it after my favourite character from the classic film, New Jack City”, says Tibz.
Nino Brown is a beautiful flavour layered dish. Great for lunch or dinner.
- Pork fillet
- Egg noodles
- Exotic mushrooms
- Stirfry veggie mix
- Garlic cloves
- White wine
- Olive oil
- Create a white wine and garlic mushroom broth. Slow cook exotic mushrooms in the wine with two garlic cloves and thyme for an hour.
- Slightly pan fry the mushroom in olive oil for colour, remove and then stir-fry choice of veggies.
- Use eggs noodles and boil in your broth for 6-8 minutes and then plate.
- Serve and enjoy.
