Just like Christmas, we celebrate Easter in the opposite season to the rest of the world. Well, us and everyone else in the Southern Hemisphere that is. Traditionally, Easter is a spring festival, celebrating everything that is new and fresh and budding. That’s why furry bunnies and eggs are associated with Easter. But we go into Easter when leaves are falling, when the colder weather sets in and when – hopefully! – the rainy season starts.
