For the first time ever, Africa Travel Week will be at the CTICC from 28 April – 3 May.
The event will comprise three co-located shows – WTM Africa, IBTM Africa and ILTM Africa – encompassing Africa’s inbound and outbound markets for general leisure travel, luxury tourism, and the MICE/business travel sector under RTE’s established portfolios of WTM (World Travel Market), ILTM (International Luxury Travel Market) and IBTM (Incentives, Business Travel & Meetings).
ILTM Africa is where the leaders of the African luxury travel community meet. Exclusive trade only buyers from across the globe are introduced to African suppliers through a bespoke appointment programme to build relationships and grow their businesses.
IBTM Africa is the new invitation only event for Africa’s incentives, meetings and business travel industry. This highly targeted event will bring together buyers and suppliers for three days of business, education and networking all held in Cape Town, South Africa. Targeting both inbound and outbound business, IBTM Africa is the platform for both international and African suppliers and buyers to meet, network and transact business in a highly targeted and interactive environment. Fifty senior level decision makers responsible for incentives and meetings from corporate companies, associations and not for profit and third party agencies will be hosted to the event. Hosted Buyers will attend a programme of pre-scheduled appointments with qualified suppliers to the event providing an efficient return on time and investment.
The inaugural World Travel Market Africa will take place at Cape Town’s International Convention Centre on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 May 2014. It will be the leading B2B exhibition for Africa’s leisure travel industry, bringing the world to Africa and promoting Africa to the world’s leading source markets.
